AhlulBayt News Agency: The Pentagon and the US Navy have officially acknowledged an incident involving a US Navy F/A-18 fighter jet in the Red Sea, hours after Sanaa forces reported engaging with the US aircraft carrier group Harry S. Truman, forcing it to withdraw northward.
According to the Pentagon’s statement, an F/A-18 fighter jet crashed during operations, alongside reports of a “tractor,” believed to be a rocket launcher, being struck and a sailor sustaining injuries.
The statement comes amid growing concerns over escalating tensions in the Red Sea region, following Sanaa forces’ assertion of their confrontation with US naval forces.
